As indicated in our mission statement, the Penn-Ohio Singers strive to be recognized for competitive excellence. The Johnny Appleseed District (JAD), which includes chapters from the entire states of Ohio and West Virginia and nine counties in Western Pennsylvania, is one of the most competitive of SPEBSQSA's sixteen districts. Since it's formation in 1982, the Penn-Ohio Singers have won nine JAD Eastern Divisional
contests and consistently placed in the top ten in the entire District.

On April 18, 2009 the Penn-Ohio Singers came in eighth place overall, and second in the AA tier. Good job POS!.
