True to the name of the society to which it belongs (Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of
Barbershop Quartet Singing in America) , the Shenango Valley Chapter encourages the development of
barbershop quartets among its members. The Chapter is particularly proud of Jokers Wild, 1994 International
Quartet Champions, which was formed by several members of the Shenango Valley Chapter.

There is currently one active quartet registered with the Barbershop Harmony Society,
whose singers are members of the Penn-Ohio Singers chorus.
